About Me
Hi my name is Debbie, a dedicated senior nurse with 38 years of experience, raised in Newquay.
In 1986 I trained in a London teaching hospital. In 2004 I spent several years in France as a theatre sister. My husband and I renovated a Maison de Maître while our two children attended the local French school.
We returned to Newquay 14 years ago, where I continued to expand my expertise, at Derriford, and Royal Cornwall Hospital. Working alongside ENT surgeons, gaining valuable knowledge in auditory surgery. Following extensive training, offering professional specialist earwax removal service, microsuction, and irrigation, providing safe and effective solutions for ear health in our community.

How I've Helped

My services

Irrigation
Warm water irrigation, gently removes the wax by using a controlled, low pressure water jet which is angled towards the ear canal wall rather than at the actual blockage (which may push the wax deeper and cause discomfort or ear pain).

Microsuction
Microsuction undertaken correctly by Debbie a trained clinician, is a pain free method used to remove wax from ear canals when irrigation isn't possible, for example because of a perforated ear drum or grommets, where any water in the ear canal could enter the inner ear and cause problems.

Manual
Under the steady hands of Debbie a trained clinician, and guided with a specula, I use a variety of sterile manual wax removal tools to clear stubborn and hard to remove blockages.
